MICRONEEDLING
Microneedling stimulates collagen and elastin production, improving skin texture, reducing fine lines, and addressing various skin concerns such as acne scars and hyperpigmentation.
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure that creates micro wounds in the skin to stimulate collagen production. This multi purpose treatment takes advantage of the body’s natural healing process to treat a variety of skin conditions. To achieve optimal results, a series of multiple treatments is typically recommended.
ABOUT MICRONEEDLING
WHAT IT IS
Microneedling uses a handheld device equipped with extremely sharp, sterile needles to puncture the skin and stimulate collagen production. The addition of PRP, Exosomes or PDGF makes the treatment more effective, as the products contain essential growth factors that accelerate the healing process and promote healthier skin.
Preparation if PRP is added on: A blood sample is taken from you, and a centrifuge is used to separate the PRP from the rest of the blood.
Treatment: Your skin will be thoroughly cleansed, and a numbing cream will be applied. During the procedure, potent growth factor serum is applied to the treatment area. You may feel warmth and a scratching/pulling sensation as the device moves over your skin, but the numbing cream minimizes discomfort.
HOW IT WORKS
WHAT TO EXPECT
Microneedling is a minimally invasive procedure with very little downtime. Here’s what you can expect:
Immediately After Treatment: Your skin will likely be red and swollen, which can last up to a few days.
Post-Treatment Care: You can return to your normal routine immediately, but it’s important to avoid sun exposure until your skin heals fully.
